Fronted by singer Peter Tetteroo, the group became one of the Netherlands most successful bands of the era. Their 1970 hit Ma Belle Amie reached the Top 5 in the U. S., launching them onto the international stage. Over the years, they released a steady run of singles and albums that balanced strong melodies with a distinctive Dutch pop sensibility.
